The Venetian Islands are one step closer to seeing the development of a new building after unanimously receiving the okay from the Miami Beach Design Review Board. This new project will be a five-story multifamily building set to be built on 31 Venetian Way, which is part of Belle Isle. The project finally got the okay after being in development limbo for the last six years and was hailed by the board for being an “entirely different project than before.”
Upon completion, the as yet unnamed building will take up the majority of Belle Isle’s northern side and will replace a quartet of buildings each standing three stories tall that have been around since the late 1930s. It will have a total of 172 residential units within a pair of buildings occupying a waterfront parcel that take up over three acres. Besides its 700+ feet of waterfront the building will also have a publicly accessible bay walk open during the day and 297 parking spaces.
Stay tuned for prospective rental opportunities in the Venetian Islands as the 31 Venetian Way project comes closer to its construction.
