With the profusion of restaurants found throughout Miami Beach, the options are virtually endless when trying to figure out where you’d like to grab a meal, especially in the South Beach area. From Latin food to American cuisine and more, the array of options is perfect for selective palates, and with the introduction of French 27, there is yet another new type of cuisine to try.
True to its name, French 27 serves a French cuisine designed to represent each and every one of France’s 27 regions with specialty ingredients that have been imported. The new restaurant occupies the former home of Porfirio’s in the South of Fifth area.
Guests dining at French 27 will be able to try foods like Chilean sea bass, a quarter of steaks topped with Cafe de Paris butter, French onion soup, and puff pastry, among other dishes. There are also desserts like baked apple pizzette and vanilla ice cream with Krispy Kreme pudding plus a variety of cocktails to choose from.
The ambiance at French 27 is open air and is complemented by a fountain, candles, and even a grand piano. A DJ can typically be seen providing music on most nights. The restaurant’s address is 850 Commerce Street.
